The one and only Gwen Stefani is back with her new video and single ‘Baby Don’t Lie! What do you think? Do you like it? Originally scheduled to premiere on US radio on Sunday night (19th October), the track has made an early appearance online. We have the stream for you:
‘Baby Don’t Lie’ was written by Gwen Stefani, Noel Zancanella, Benny Blanco and Ryan Tedder, which might explain why this sounds a bit like Maroon 5, although we’re getting ‘Princess of China‘ (Coldplay) and ‘Te Amo‘ (Rihanna) vibes as well. Overall a very strong return, but nothing as nuts as ‘What You Waiting For’ or ‘Wind It Up’.
“I’m really into pink right now, which is weird because I did pink back in the day with my hair. Each time I’m cocooned, each time I transform into a new chapter, I do pink,” Gwen Stefani said recently during a New York Fashion Week
The video was shot last month in Los Angeles and is directed by Sophie Muller. Stefani’s third studio album is expected early 2015.
