THE COLLECTION // HEALING
Somehow this is the perfect time for this collection, born more than a year ago. Right now, when the world is falling apart, floating in total uncertainty, suffering. HEALING started its way after an episode at the hospital, where I found myself assisting someone who got hurt cutting her hand. I don’t feel at ease with hospitals so my mind started focusing on what was around, looking for something that could tickle my attention. Nevertheless, I ended up observing how they were stitching the cut and I felt something familiar. All that white, and red spots here and there. I started researching scrubs and stitching techniques. Clear tubes, uniforms. I had something to take care of. My creation process was now shifted into something much more intense. After more than a year, I feel healed, so yes somehow this is the perfect time to show HEALING.
I’ve always seen fashion first of all as a design field, where I’ve been experimenting new approaches between the body and the garment.
