We’re thrilled to spotlight Henrik Vibskov’s latest collection, which was revealed at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Known for his multidisciplinary approach, Vibskov’s work continues to captivate with its enchanting universes and crossover into various art forms.
As a Danish designer, artist, curator, and musician, Henrik Vibskov has consistently amazed us with his innovative and immersive fashion pieces. Since graduating from Central St. Martin’s in 2001, Vibskov has created over 40 collections and exhibited at prestigious venues worldwide, including the MoMA in New York, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and the ICA in London.
This season, Vibskov’s presentation was nothing short of a spectacle. Staged in a large, dark venue in Christiania, the collection, The Orchestra of the Soft Assistance, was more than a fashion show—it was an exhilarating performance. Vibskov, a true virtuoso of interdisciplinary artistry, showcased his music, theatre, and fashion talents.

Amidst large red digitally-printed hands suspended from the ceiling alongside ropes and padded belts, white-suited assistants began manipulating these grand appendages as if they were marionettes, lifting drapery in undulating patterns that created a dreamlike atmosphere. This surreal dance emphasized a theme of fluidity—a motif Vibskov skillfully wove through the collection with curved cuts and dynamic patterns.
Despite the diversity and complexity of the patterns, the collection conveyed an underlying message responsive to the current global state. Reflecting on the world’s unpredictability, Vibskov emphasized the need for unity and assistance, saying, “Looking at the world and how it is, I think it’s just crazy. I think we need to help each other and give hands and assist.”
