Through photographic investigation, Rusty has explored ideas relating to gender and identity. With a BA (Hons) in Fashion Photography & an MA in Fashion Photography from London College Of Fashion, Rusty has been creating thought-provoking work for industry professionals in Mumbai & London.
His work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Elle India, The Robb Report India, New Woman India, Rough UK, HUF Magazine, Vulkan Magazine, Flawless Magazine, Institute Magazine – His work has displayed as part of the MA Fashion Photography show at Victoria House, London. It has also been displayed at the Strand Gallery, the Foyles Gallery & the Espacio gallery as part of the Gay Photographers Network.
In Mumbai, his work has been featured at The Focus Photography Festival as part of the Blow-Up Bombay & Blind Boys Exhibit. Rusty looks to photographers like Mario Sorrenti, Nick Knight, Robert Mapplethorpe, Jean-Paul Goude, Lachlan Bailey & Helmet Newton as virtual mentors for his craft.
Currently residing and photographing in Mumbai & London, Rusty continues to create articulate fashion imagery that pushes boundaries and evokes reactions. Just like he does!
