”This collection is named after and inspired by the book, “The Three Christs of Ypsilanti.” Milton Rokeach, a social psychologist, brought together three patients suffering from paranoid and schizophrenia at Ypsilanti State Hospital in Michigan. These three men, each of who delusively believed they were Jesus Christ, meet for the purpose of a psychiatric case study. This study aimed to find out the ultimate contradiction – that no more than one person can have the same identity and would challenge their belief system enough, to break the delusion. The clothing presented in the editorial, “Im Wedding”, were initially designed and fitted for men.”
