A Journey Through Artistry
Dariia Bila’s career is a rich tapestry of collaborations with esteemed directors and renowned theatres. Her work on major productions such as La Traviata, The Golden Hoop, Paquita, Cabaret, and Carmina Burana showcases her exceptional ability to craft costumes that not only adorn the bodies of performers but also shape the stories they tell. Based in Kyiv, Dariia continues her artistic journey against the backdrop of a challenging reality marked by war, where air raid sirens and prolonged blackouts punctuate daily life. Yet, in the face of adversity, the theatres remain vibrant, serving as cultural sanctuaries for many Ukrainians, who find solace and strength in the power of performance.
MY THEATRE: Where Fashion Meets Drama
MY THEATRE isn’t just a fashion label; it’s an extension of Dariia’s theatrical vision. Each garment tells a story, handcrafted from natural fabrics, produced in limited editions, and adorned with a uniquely numbered handwritten silk label. The brand’s debut during Paris Fashion Week was nothing short of revolutionary, featuring an immersive show that blurred the lines between fashion, theatre, and art. The runway transformed into a living stage, presenting a retrospective of past collections alongside the much-anticipated Collection №6. In this space, garments came alive as characters, and the emotion of performance enveloped the audience, marking a poignant milestone for the entire team.

Collection №6: An Ode to The Tales of Hoffmann
The newly unveiled Collection №6 draws inspiration from Jacques Offenbach’s opera The Tales of Hoffmann, for which Dariia Bila designed the costumes. This collection delves into themes of love, illusion, and the complexities of a woman’s inner world, articulated through the language of silhouette, texture, and meticulous craftsmanship. Each piece serves as a canvas for exploration, inviting wearers to engage in a dialogue between fashion and emotion.
In an industry often focused on the fleeting nature of trends, Dariia Bila’s approach champions timeless artistry and the deep connections forged through storytelling. As she navigates the realities of her homeland, her creations continue to inspire a sense of hope and resilience—reminding us that even in the darkest times, the light of creativity and passion can shine brightly.
