Ivan Dorn shares Love Could Be remixes

MTV EMA award-winning Ukrainian artist Ivan Dorn has shared the remix EP to his biggest hit of 2020, ‘Love Could Be’. The deeply melodic song is a paraphrase of the artist’s platinum-selling Russian R&B single ‘Northern Lights’, and artists from Latvia, Scandinavia and Italy have given it the dancefloor treatment with remixes completed remotely during the lockdown.

Hotly-tipped Latvia-based producer Makree opens the EP with a viscerally exciting electro house version. Bold basslines and clever stop-start dynamics make for an impactful number. Also from Latvia, yet based in Stockholm, Edgar Orn showcases his ear for an earworm bass drop and builds to it in style.

Meanwhile, Scandinavian club owners Maze & Topic, who made their name spinning dance tracks at Space Beach Club in Ibiza, give it the tech-house treatment.

And Glaceo, a young protégé from Italy working with Soave and Warner, among other labels, provides a luxurious and upbeat take on ‘Love Could Be’ that’ll add fuel to his rise.

This dance EP arrives as Dorn readies new music and as he readies himself for the 2021 unveiling of a blockbuster film he has a starring role in. Ivan Dorn is at the heart of the upcoming film Petrov’s Flu, directed by leading Russian director Kirill Serebrennikov. You can watch the trailer here

This film comes off the back of the artist’s CGI-heavy music video for the single ‘Wasted’, where the singer’s dancing in a fireball and teleporting in blasts of plasma as he’s overtaken by uncontrollable superhuman abilities. Dorn is a truly remarkable star continually rising. Other 2020 highs can be discovered on Ivan Dorn’s Spotify.
