London-based artist and producer Koba Sno creates at a rare intersection of futuristic electronics, experimental pop, left-field R&B, and ambient textures. Grounded in a fascination with the glowing, snow-covered landscapes of early video game soundtracks, Sno’s practice spans sound, movement, and immersive cinematic world-building. Following their acclaimed 2024 project try find me, an explorative audio series, and a spot on Youth Music’s NextGen “Ones to Watch” list for 2026, Sno enters a vibrant new era with their latest single and music video, ‘Holiday’.
Released independently via their own imprint [..❀] (dot-dot-bloom), the maximalist alt-pop cut was produced over Zoom alongside BOBBIE (8485, Jessica Winter, Brooke Candy). Rooted in the ripple effect of being truly believed in, the track was inspired by a transformative teenage friendship, with Sno setting out to craft their “most uplifting song by design”—the kind of track they and their friend “would have catwalked down the street to as teenagers.”
Directed by Ling Yu, the accompanying video brings the silver sketchbooks Sno has filled for years into sharp focus. Drawing on the blizzards, mountain peaks, and larger-than-life spectacle of 00s snowboarding games, the visual blends 3D animation, digital choreography, and performed movement. It also introduces “UberDaddy”, a recurring character representing pure belief in one’s highest self. For Sno, the project represents a major creative breakthrough: “I’ve been trying to make the kind of music and visual world I would’ve become obsessed with as a kid, ‘Holiday’ is the first time I can look at something and know I’ve really done it.”
Yu echoes that shared vision, explaining that the crew wanted to “stay true to the Koba Sno world both sonically & aesthetically” by “modernizing the past” through a glossy digital lens. “Building the world of Holiday together with Koba has been such a joy,” Yu shares. “Koba’s just such a star, their presence carried the performances and it’s always been clear that they have a very clear, specific vision of the world they want to build, which is always appreciated in a collaborator.”

Koba Sno will support Orchid at Next Door Records Two in London on 7 October 2026, with further music announcements arriving soon. Tickets are available via Resident Advisor and DICE.
