Ancient codes are an intimate bond to both the physical and supernatural worlds, pivotal to belief and culture.
A fascination for ancient customs is ignited; through a glimpse of transcendence, we have already forged golden streets between what was to what is. This mystification teases us to create our own semiotic response.
It takes guts and gods, in our Zeitgeist, to embody that space to revitalise and adapt these customary treasures to our modern lifestyle.
Symbolism, cosmology, hieroglyphs, the interrelation between nature and ourselves, and textile manipulation to preserve and prepare for what is eternity. For this effect, the Designer developed laser-cut patterns and prints.
For this Collection, Kolovrat is inspired by earthy, natural colours that we associate with Ancient Egypt, with loose silhouettes in light silk, cotton and denim. This is an invitation to take a step back and be aware of a new perspective.
