Lotte Thor is a Norwegian photographer based in Berlin, focusing on fashion and portraiture. Her involvement in the electronic music scene as a DJ and label owner, mixed with her passion for analog photography, lead her to photographing many press shots for friends & musicians in the industry. From there she branched out into fashion photography, and after completing her photography studies at Neue Schule fur Fotografie, she now works freelance in Berlin. She also has an MSc in social anthropology.

These images are an exploration of inner vs. outer worlds. What goes on in the chaos of our minds, and how do we reconcile this with the world out there? The struggle of integrity is to have consistency between who you are on the inside and who you project to the outside. The title “Leaves of Grass” is a reference to Walt Whitmans poetry – where the boundaries of the “self” are challenged.
