LINGERIE EROTIQUE by KALAFAKER

KALTBLUT presents: LINGERIE EROTIQUE by KALAFAKER. It is a limited edition of eight sets of erotic lingerie aimed at the male audience. It’s about suspenders and T-shirts, all unique pieces. For the creation of these pieces recycled material was used, such as glass, milk sachets plastic or waterproof umbrella fabric. The t-shirts were intervened with several graphic techniques, like woodcut, stencil or pyrograbado. The concept is to show a banal and bizarre environment in which a couple manages to enjoy a sensual and erotic moment without touching the stereotyped parameters of advertising and porn. Photography by Diego Spiteri. Models are Martin and Walter.

KALAFAKER was born in 2012 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the beginning of 2016 the creative director and designer/artist Pablo Kalafaker settled down in Madrid.

KALAFAKER grew, and was part of the movement of art and alternative fashion of Buenos Aires. Spaces of self-management, formed the underground scene of Buenos Aires. The brand was always present in this type of spaces, Popa Gallery, Gallery 5th Avenue, Bond Street, etc. At the same time worked together with other artists such as Andy Kadabra, Nico Minacapilli or VivoViva, generating alternative experimental spaces. In 2013 KALAFAKER created its own space / workshop / showroom in the neighborhood of Abasto / Buenos Aires, where it continued to generate encounters and exchanges with contemporary artists and designers.

KALAFAKER is inspired by the designer’s own, eclectic world. Original and without limits in the creative moment. The work is handmade. There are pieces created from scratch, and on several occasions vintage garments are customized.

All people are unique. KALAFAKER is aimed at innovative people, who seek to stand out, who value 100% artisanal and works of art as living parts. The pieces created are asexual and timeless.

KALAFAKER usually does not typecast its pieces with seasons or collections, but sometimes appear garments that fit within a concept generating series of works that in the end are denominated collections. As for example, the erotic collection “Lingerie Erotique”.
