Pop star Max Barskih and singer ETOLUBOV have teamed up for their latest release “Римую” (read: Rymuiu). The song has been described as a soundtrack of humanity and affection – something the war cannot destroy. Barskih’s and ETOLUBOV’s collaboration is a sensual message to all Ukrainian couples who managed to find, or retain, their love despite tragic circumstances. The single and its accompanying video have been released today, 28th October.
About the emotional track, ETOLUBOV says that today, millions of Ukrainians are separated by distance. “The only connection we’ve got with our loved ones is the screen of our mobile phones. “Rymuiu” is a song about everyone who nurtures their feelings and stands up against the test of distance.” Barskih emphasizes that the war is going on all fronts. “In music“, he says, “it is important the Ukrainian word and rhyme find a new form, becoming more natural to the modern youth.”
