Luis de Javier’s debut at Paris Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2025 was nothing short of a serve! Under the watchful eye of mentor Riccardo Tisci, the London-based Spanish designer hit the Parisian runway with a collection that blended haute couture glam with his signature wild, avant-garde flair.
Taking notes from Balenciaga’s 1940s silhouettes, Luis paid tribute to the OG master of fashion, while also reminding us that he’s all about pushing boundaries and making statements. And honey, the statements were made.
The show, held at the ultra-chic Espace Niemeyer, was a love letter to Spanish fashion heritage, but with a modern elegant twist—and don’t even get us started on the sustainability vibes. Luis teamed up with eco-friendly faves like Ecco Leather, Beglarian Fabrics, and Eyand to give us looks that are not only sickening but also planet-friendly. Save the Earth and look stunning? Yes, please!
Let’s talk about the looks, though—because, wow breath-taking much? We’re talking virginal sheer lace catsuits that somehow balanced ethereal and fierce, dangerously low-cut skirts paired with matching thongs and a faux fur overcoat with shoulder pads so extra, they were practically their personality. And of course, he brought his iconic 3D horn-like structures, giving us all the theatrical, avant-garde vibes we could ask for.
He also teamed up with Nike, jewellery brand Angostura Jewels and the mega-talented Valencian milliner Bettogarcia to create the show-stopping headpieces.
Extravagance? Check. Drama? Double check.
With a celeb fan club that includes Beyoncé, Rosalía, Julia Fox, and Eatheater, Luis de Javier just made Paris his stage. This collection wasn’t just a debut—it was a major moment. The future of fashion? Luis is already serving it and we are eating it up on a sheer lace platter.
