Makeup by Julia Masferrer. “Mariposa de Plomo explores memory as a wound in constant rewriting, a fragmented space where creation and destruction cease to be understood as opposites and instead coexist. Through long-exposure photography and light painting, the image is constructed through successive layers of light on the same canvas: each stroke transforms the previous one and adds a new interpretation of reality, like a memory that never returns intact.”
