“Mattemorphosis” is about transfiguring forms of beauty. Gentle glowing makeup transmutes to matte powder, smooth and sleek hair progresses to gathered textured spikes. Black and white metamorphoses into spectral colour, cocooned all around by soft lighting. Just as the chameleon changes its colours and the butterfly emerges from its chrysalis, “Mattemorphosis” becomes a means of expression symbolising continual creation, progression and transformation.
