Melancholia: This scenario centers around three concepts linked by the overarching melancholy of the 1930s. Geometric shapes and stiff wearability depict rigid minimalistic lines (Das Triadische Ballet). The overlapping of textures of differering weights will contrast this, creating a sense of form and composition that clash with the original simplicity of minimalism ( Francis Bacon). Finally, harmony between this different elements will come about through the interaction of the two subjects within the scene, making use of pose, fabrics and backdrop to create fluidity within the picture (Christo e Jeanne-Claude).
