Set within the quiet intimacy of a home, it is uncertain if the photographs are a personal document or a collaborative performance, if the two are friends or lovers, whether they have known each other for one night or one decade.
The photographer muses over the man we see in the pictures, both observing him voyeuristically and making direct eye contact. The chemistry between the two is ambiguous, with their interactions being both lustful and banally familiar. The man portrayed in the pictures alternates between casual indifference and deliberate engagement with his companion, sometimes appearing unaware, sometimes knowingly participating.
