KALTBLUT is thrilled to present exclusive “Miss Meatface – A fetishistic exploration into the world of Kat Toronto”. Kat is a multidisciplinary artist of cult status from the San Francisco Bay Area. She works across a myriad of different mediums and is currently focusing on self-portraiture using vintage Polaroid cameras and her popsurrealist costume and millinery designs. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes horrific, Kat channels her own unique visceral vision with haunting images that leave a trail of delicious crumbs leading the viewer into dark alleyways of the fetishistic and darkly erotic. For this series she worked enthusiastically with Impossible Project films. Kat will be having her first solo exhibition opening at Resistance Gallery London on October 22nd which will feature her latest body of Polaroid photography work.
