Highlighting her achievements, Blanka Barbara clinched the top spot in October 2023 at the remix contest hosted by Change the Beat initiative (formerly 23by23), in collaboration with Native Instruments, Label Radar, and Australia’s Club Sweat. Her rendition of Nala’s ‘Growth’ single resonated with both the music industry and her audience, propelling her remix into the spotlight on Spotify’s celebrated “New Dance Beats” editorial playlist.
Be sure to experience Blanka Barbara live on Friday, 22 March, when Southbank London presents an evening dedicated to examining the intersection of rave culture and modern art in Poland during the 1990s.
