“To me the music I listen to, the music I create and the music I mix typically reflects my environment. Sometimes it reflects an environment I wish I was inhabiting… With the sun creeping through in Berlin at the moment I’ve had these tastes of what summer is going to be like. I wanted this mix to reflect exactly that feeling. We are getting an idea of what it’s going to feel like, having vitamin D flowing through our veins, having sunlight past 4PM and adding colour to our pale skin… But the reality is we just aren’t there yet. This mix is just that. Songs that I can’t wait to play during the summer but also songs that lend themselves towards nights in bars where cigarette smoke makes it hard to open your eyes.”
