Bristol-born, London-based DJ & producer Coldabank joins our mixtape series, following the release of his addictive new single ‘Never Be The Same’. This track combines deep house tones with club-ready hooks and jazz-infused production, showcasing Coldabank’s meticulously crafted blend of genres. With its irresistible rhythms and catchy melodies, ‘Never Be The Same’ is poised to dominate airwaves and dancefloors worldwide.

Thanks for having me Kaltblut! This mix is a really fun combination of tracks I’ve been loving over the past few months, some brand new heaters for this summer and, of course, my latest single is in there too. I’ve tried to show a wide range of stuff I’m enjoying and have made sure to include music by friends, collaborators and my favourite artists of the moment. Hope you enjoy it xx

Dance music should be fun, despite all the technical chatter about BPMs and frequencies. The best club anthems create unforgettable memories, and sometimes they help us lose ourselves in the hedonistic atmosphere of a lively club. Coldabank captures this ethos perfectly with one of his club-shaking bangers, reminding us that sometimes, you just want to dance.

Coldabank has always aimed to create those escape-fueled moments late at night in the club. He honed his skills in the studio by assisting famed mix engineer James F Reynolds (known for working with Calvin Harris, Snoop Dogg, Years & Years, and Tinie Tempah). This experience led him to serve as a tour DJ for Labrinth.

Coldabank’s debut single “Lovin’ You” exemplified his intoxicating, kaleidoscopic sound from the start. “Afterlife” captures his frenetic allure, while “Good For Me” leans into all-encompassing pop hooks. “I Just Wanna Dance” is the tune that helps you lose yourself deeper into the night.

With an infectious catalogue and massive remixes for artists like Rudimental, Charli XCX, and Portugal. The Man, Coldabank has amassed tens of millions of streams and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
