Wrapping up the mixtape series for January, we present MAUER, the esteemed DJ, music producer, and the creative force behind SENSOR Records. Embarking on his musical odyssey first as a producer and songwriter, MAUER has delved into a myriad of musical styles since his youth. Nevertheless, it was the pulsating allure of techno that ultimately seized his affection.
MAUER’s dedication to the turntables was ignited during an inaugural pilgrimage to the legendary Berghain. With each set he spins, one can hear echoes of Berlin’s electrifying club culture—a fusion of entrancing hypnotic rhythms and the exotic pulse of ethnic percussion. His artistic evolution continues unbounded, as he boldly experiments across the musical spectrum, recently venturing into live act performances.

MAUER’s sonic explorations have resonated through the walls of preeminent venues, from Ava in Berlin to Crossclub in Prague, as well as Warsaw’s celebrated spots Jasna 1 and Smolna. The energy of his sets has amplified the atmosphere at festivals such as Welur and Chaos, alongside a host of local gigs.
Wielding an ever-expanding repertoire, MAUER has crafted podcasts for revered techno channels, amongst which are Deepicnic, Techclubbers, Lost in Ether, MWTG, and Oramics, sharing his unique techno narrative with a global audience.
