3 years ago, Asher’s focus was on studying for a degree in Cardiff, growing up playing Rugby in a small coastal town in West Wales. A-Level results day came and he took a chance on moving to London to study Advertising/Public Relations. Asher would go on to feature in international fashion magazines, walking shows designers such as Astrid Anderson, Sibling, Ada + Nik and then opening the first Moschino SS15 show in London this year. He is currently represented by AMCK Models London, Joy Models Milan and RED Models NYC. No one can deny Asher is a rising star and this week’s Model Of London!

How were you discovered: It was actually my sister Rachel Anthony who is a stylist (www.rachel-anthony.com). I helped assist a few times, who said i should i try it. I had a test, cut down some mass and was luckily enough to be given an opportunity by AMCK. I have been really fortunate with the support i have had from family and friends.
What has been the highlight of your carrier so far: I was fortunate enough to open the first Moschino show in London for SS15. They (Moschino) spotted me in my friend Pantelis Prodromou’s magazine ‘Coitus’, felt somewhat of a double win for his talent being recognized. My mum even cried.
Whats your dream booking: Vogue Hommes International front cover, surrounded by Victoria’s Secret angels feeding me grapes.
Who’s your favourite fashion icon: It has to be the 3 Davids. David Beckham, David Gandy and St David… The patron saint of Wales.
What item of clothing could you not live without: I had this gold kimono tailor made when I went on a holiday to Vietnam, I wear it at pre drinks. It just has really fond memories attached to it.
How do you keep fit: I have played rugby the past 6 years with some of my closest friends, three who event went on to play professionally (2) Ealing Trailfinders and (1) at Bedwas RFC, however with modeling I have had to loose size so I can fit into the clothes. It can be so aggravating as you can be left with this skewed body image. However I’m lucky that I get tips from friends, including one who is a PT (@constandring) I also have @fatsadik to stand next to in pictures to make me look better. I plan on running a half marathon next year as well with pal James.
Whats you favourite food: Carbs.
What do you do for fun: The same as most 21 year olds; being world renowned on FIFA, spending time with friends, sport, cooking and buying things I don’t need.
Whats the best thing about being you: I´m just lucky with stuff I guess.
If you were an animal what would you be: A seal.
