Irene Moray is a photographer and filmmaker currently based in Barcelona, but a piece of her heart is still in Berlin, where she lived for four years. Moray personal photography showcases a lot of nature and nudism and she would says it has a mystical undertone. With cinema, Irene likes to shoot pieces with very different styles, she wants to try all kinds of genres to communicate different stories.
“The cinematographer, Christian Moyés, and I wanted to film something together. The project really came up as an exercise for both, with no pretensions. We asked our friends for help and my mum let us film at her place (she will never let me do it again). It was really improvised but everyone in the crew worked really hard.”
