Raised in Dublin and now residing in Berlin, Botswana-born Candice Gordon releases her smouldering video for ‘Smoke in the Air’. With both psychedelic and gothic undertones, Gordon’s distinctive voice captures your attention in no time. Having already worked with the likes of Shane MacGowan and shared a stage with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Kurt Vile and The Horrors, Gordon’s vocals are on par with impressive female artists such as PJ Harvey and Mazzy Star. ‘Smoke in the Air’ is the first single off Candice’s album ‘Garden of Beasts’, set for release in the New Year on Proper Octopus Records.
