Press Play: FLOSS – I Will Eat Your God

Immersed in the sonic zeitgeist, FLOSS emerges as the archetype of avant-pop ferocity. Her ascension was cemented by VOGUE’s acclamation as a torchbearer within the German-speaking realm—a sentiment echoed at the dawn of 2024. With the Berliner Zeitung granting her a full-page homage and her rhythmic alchemy commandeering the Pop echelons, this chameleon of sound is only accelerating.

FLOSS’s previous aural odyssey, “Replica Of My Heart,” landed in the autumnal embrace of September, stoking the fires of Alli Neumann’s tour as an esteemed accomplice. With no rest for the visionary, “I Will Eat Your God” heralds her next renaissance. It’s an audacious serenade that foreshadows the existential revolution of her impending 4th EP “EGO DEATH.”

Eclipsing the mundane, the provocative opus is immortalized in a fashion film music video by the visionary Phoenix Chase-Meares, pledging to resurrect a monochromatic world into a rosy revival.

The proclamation is unequivocal—a clarion call for iconoclastic liberation. FLOSS articulates, “This is the anthem for breaking free from the constraints imposed by those who seek to marginalize, oppress and wand to make you feel like you don’t belong or you are wrong.” In a song that refutes the hypocrisy—an affront to AFD sympathizers, bigots, the queerphobic, the narrow-minded, or the sartorially inept—FLOSS dismantles convention. The manifesto is potent: You’re more than right; you’re sacrosanct.
