Huge Molasses Tank Explodes is Milan-based four-piece that began as a noise duo in 2013 by Fabrizio De Felice and Gabriele Arnolfo. Giacomo Tota and Luca Umidi joined the lineup soon after and all have since created their own psychedelic-kraut-influenced-western-pop impression.
“Shapeless” introduces by taunting, throwing layers upon layers of guitar over distant vocals. Close your eyes and you might imagine a wild west at night. Squeeze your eyelids together as tight as your can and you might be convinced the stars are flickering. This single has a way with vivid imagery and we’re in love with its sonic storytelling.
