Press Play: Jona Rain – ‘Adios Amigo’

With three EPs and an album released between 2015 and 2018, as well as some notable singles (including a duet with Saint DX and the summer hit “South Seas”), the queer British dream-pop band Ménage à Trois has been enchanting the audiences around the world with its melancholic and oceanic pop.

The year 2022 thus marked a new stage for Jonathan Flanders, the leader and voice of the Manchester band, who now performs solo under the name Jona Rain. Last June, he released “In My Room,” a reimagining of the Vengaboys song “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!!”. With his angelic voice and style that falls somewhere between 00s R&B and futuristic pop, Jona Rain arrives like a torch to save our time.

He now returns on March 8th with the new single “Adios Amigo” – a song that recalls the breakup with his last band and is accompanied by a video directed by Marine Billet.
