PRITCH LONDON S/S20: LADIES WHO LEATHER

PRITCH London slay their way into SS20 with leather ensembles fit for a Queen, or to be more precise, an almighty goddess as their latest collection elevates the PRITCH wearer to divine status in ‘Divine Beings’.

A collection displaying the power of ancient Greek mythology through striking silhouettes, unique materials and extraordinary techniques. Throw in a lot of leather from head to toe and I’m on board. Words by Lewis Robert Cameron

Especially when said leather is sustainable, embodying a versatile modernity producing classic shapes, duality and dimensional textures for the modern and empowered woman. Inspiration is found in the desire to showcase the obscure and ambiguous ancient Greek goddesses who are historically overlooked, the colour palette of Divine Beings reflects the mysterious tales of the goddess Hecate. Vibrant yellows, bold reds, cold silver and copper metallics alongside traditional blacks serve up a rich and rewarding story of Hecate carrying flaming torches through treacherous night journeys.

Enhancing and exploring the female form, PRITCH focus on emphasising the waist and shoulders as harness and belt detailing shines through alongside corsetry and bustiers in armored styling to express the powerful nature behind the designs, backed up with a host of pleats, peplums and plenty of pointed stilettos. A celebration and reflection on both their client and their appreciation for a unique piece. www.pritchlondon.com
