“My name is Margarida, Margarida Bellerose, and I was born under strange circumstances in an entirely inverted world. It was a warm spring afternoon; the sun was starting to set behind the mountains, or at least that’s what I was told. And I was born.”
What is the meaning of life?
I think it’s a question that has crossed our minds more than once. We are born and no one tells us how we should live it, or if there is an ideal instruction manual for it. We’ve simply followed in the footsteps of our ancestors, but does it have to be this way, or is it a social construct?
“Reverso” tells the story of Margarida Bellerose, a woman from Barcelona who narrates the diary of her life, which, due to strange circumstances, was entirely different from ours. In her case, she was born as an elderly person and died as a baby, but her life was one of the happiest in the world, as you can see. She achieved her goals along with her life companion, Willow, who had always been with her since adolescence.

Willow appeared at that stage of my life, and I am grateful for everything.
We have grown up next to each other and lived endless adventures.

A world where women are constantly interrogated just for inhabiting it. Questions like, “Does the clothing we wear have an age?” “Does getting older make us less attractive?” “Why do we always have to be perfect?” The answer is that it’s all a social construct instilled in the society in which we find ourselves.”
