Robyn is back with the brand new single: Missing U

THE QUEEN IS BACK! The Swedish über-star returns with a big, sad call to the dancefloor! Robyn has released her first official new solo single in eight years. “Missing U,” which premiered on Annie Mac’s show on BBC Radio 1, is now available on streaming services. Listen to it below. The song was co-written and co-produced by Robyn with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund and Metronomy’s Joseph Mount.

Robyn’s last solo release was 2010’s Body Talk trilogy. In 2014, she released a collaborative mini-album with Röyksopp, and in 2015, released an EP with the group La Bagatelle Magique. Last year, her song “Honey” appeared on an episode of HBO’s “Girls,” but it still hasn’t been officially released. In a recent interview, she shared some demos and discussed the progress of her upcoming album, saying “it’s almost there.” In an interview with Annie Mac, Robyn confirmed that the album would be out this year.
