Following in the footsteps of the Maison’s cinematic presentations, Creative Director Gherardo Felloni creates another musical spectacle, this time collaborating with soulful French singer Kimberose. “Bells Ringing – A Christmas Carousel” celebrates the holidays – a season where dreams can come true.
Kimberose, who has two successful albums under her belt, plays the role of Dalia, a struggling musician who we find on a darkened street corner, singing without an audience. Suddenly, a man stops and gives her a business card with a mysterious address written on it. The man disappears and she makes her way to this secret place, finding herself in front of an old theater. Seemingly abandoned at first, she walks in to discover a stage with a carousel horse and, with a twinkle of its eyes, Dalia’s dream comes true. She transforms into a glamorous singer and performs on stage, in front of an audience, with the spotlight shining on her.
As abruptly as the dream starts, it stops. Dalia wakes up in the dark theater amidst boxes and boxes of shoes wrapped in bows – the Christmas carousel’s final gift.
“Bells Ringing – A Christmas Carousel” conveys a message of hope and giving. It features a special selection of shoes, bags and accessories that are perfect for the festive season. Gherardo Felloni reimagines the boule strass heel created by Monsieur Vivier for Marlène Dietrich in 1953, in elegant sandals and mules embellished with a crystal cube. These new creations also has the padded heart, a signature motif of the Maison, which decorates the insole of the sandals.
Precious crystals, delicate satin and lush velvet evoke elegance in Roger Vivier’s holiday selection, which includes bags, jewelry and a new line of hair accessories, created with the same style and savoir faire that is distinctly Vivier.
