A KALTBLUT exclusive. Mohsen Othman, infamously known as Le Mosen to the Egyptian fashion industry, is an all-round creative photographer and editorial art director, who loves to explore different personas behind the camera. It all happened through a conversation on Instagram where Mohsen, photographer and art director – originally from Egypt- and Anthony Nakhle from Lebanon dancer, choreographer, teacher and creative discussed the idea of a virtual photoshoot over FaceTime. “We’ve both been meaning to work with each other for a while but never got the chance to so it felt like it’s a perfect chance to do so.”
After some discussions, we set the mood and the shoot was a go. Anthony reached out to his stylist Nawal in Dubai, over a zoom meeting and we mixed and matched fabrics, clothes, accessories until we had all looks ready. The shoot took place on the rooftop of Anthony’s building in Beirut next to water storage tanks. Literally. It was such a challenge with all the circumstances we faced but it turned out to be a success!!
