SIMON CRACKER Spring/Summer 2024

Simon Cracker’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, named “IN TEORIA”, was recently unveiled during Milan Fashion Week. Infused with an air of joyful disorder and an unsettling undertone, this collection showcases an intriguing paradox.

Simon Cracker has ingeniously woven together an assortment of fabrics, some of which were once considered ‘ugly,’ to create a fascinating array of garments.

Simon Cracker’s “IN TEORIA” Collection: A Joyful Paradox

Acid house t-shirts, playfully redesigned with enigmatic smiles, boldly clash with striped patterns and sophisticated “bon ton” trench coats reminiscent of the iconic ’60s TV series, ‘The Prisoner.’ Cyanotype prints inspired by the enigmatic ‘Codex Seraphinianus’ engage in a visual battle with eerie Blythe dolls, while Lalaloopsies dangle whimsically from chaotic bags.

Simon Cracker’s imaginative process of upcycling and crafting unique garments is on full display, as showcased in the IN TEORIA collection. To complement the high-fashion garments, the designer has also introduced a modest selection of ‘merch’ items, conceived with a touch of commercial appeal, at least in theory.

Overall, Simon Cracker’s IN TEORIA collection is a fashion-forward and innovative display of the possibilities of upcycling and sustainability in the industry.
