A KALTBLUT exclusive menswear story. Photography by Valentina Adorni. Model is Alexander Arom signed at Marlene Agency. Style by Silvia Sandino for Murasaki Agency. Hair and Muah by Edumai. The story is inspired by “chav” or “scally” boys’s life style. This anti-social youth wander around the town centers wearing cheap clothing, their main haunts are public parks and street corners. Often gathered as big group in which social hierarchy depends on the struggles each individual has to deal with. They are territorial and act like they own the place but in fact they have probably stolen it.
“The art world has always taken a fundamental place in my life. Although photography has always been one of my interests, I chose to dedicate myself to take pictures while studying at the Academy Art of Milan. Painting requires patience and too much time for my nature, on the contrary, I feel a pleasant feeling of waiting during the roll film development. Now my goal is to make photography that leaves the conventional and keep my cultural background but which matches with the market demand. In fashion photography, I generally seek a form of “unfinished result”, a sort of backstage shots. Currently, I live and work in Barcelona, Spain.” says Valentina Adorni.
