Srtranger Skins by Matteo Strocchia and Sarah Venturini

Matteo Strocchia is a freelance photographer, born in Rome in 1992. He studied in his hometown and after high school he decided to study at European Institute of Design (IED), where he successfully earned a bachelor degree in Photography. Upon graduation, he moved to Florence to start an internship in Gherardini, a leather luxury fashion house, where he then was employed for 2 years. Over those years he collaborated in the making of fashion campaigns, social media contents and a new brand launch at Pitti Uomo 2015.

Sarah Venturini is a freelance fashion editor and art director, born in Florence in 1984.

She studied in her hometown and, after high school, she decided to attend the Istituto Polimoda, where she successfully earned a bachelor degree in Fashion Design. Upon graduation, she started creating ideas and collaborating in the making of fashion and art campaigns, photo and video, collecting several publications for her editorials and adv works. She is able to contribute to the whole creative process, from planning to production. Her experience includes also concepting, developing and launching start-ups, storytelling, copywriting, generating branded content, and creating video and interactive features.

In addition to the commercial side of fashion, Sarah & Matteo are dedicated to their particular own research, trying to combine more and more fashion with art. Their maniacal attention for new details, minimalistic balance, chromatic movements and geometric shapes is always in a continuous progress, due to their uncommon sensibility

“Stranger Skins” is an artistic work that, through the anatomic study of details, analyzes the change within the human body, and it involves the collaboration of an over 50 model.
