A KALTBLUT exclusive. Photography and creative direction by Shin Jeong Hoon. Hair & Makeup by Lucía Argüello. The model is Max Uhrmacher. Styling by Yoshy using Acne Studios, VTMNTS, PUMA, Jeffrey Campbell, szenaryo, EYTYS.
The concept features a young man caught in the chaos of his youth: anger, puberty, identity exploration—all at once. At first glance, he appears super masculine, with broad shoulders, muscles, and a raw energy that screams mugshot. But then the twist: he’s wearing a stylish, feminine dress.
At first glance, this doesn’t seem to match his body at all, and that’s what makes it intriguing. It’s as if he’s being torn between two worlds. On one hand, there’s this raw, untamed masculinity; on the other, a curiosity for style, beauty, and something that showcases not just strength, but also delicacy.
The whole thing thrives on contrasts: harsh, dark colors for the masculine vibes and soft, perhaps even kitschy details for the feminine side. The struggle to be oneself is sometimes chaotic, sometimes comical, but always genuine.
