Sven Serkis is a Berlin based art and portrait photographer, usually shooting nudes, portraits, and landscapes. His powerful photographs mostly reflect on the nature of humanity and people, the presentation of social groups, as well as the presentation of himself. For KALTBLUT Magazine he has teamed up with German model Matthias Panitz to create a series of bonding between human and natural habitat.
“I often take people into nature to see what happens when they undress and become bonded to the place. Then I capture the moments.
In this case I met German model Matthias Panitz and it was quite clear because of his fit body type that at some point there had to be a reference to Ancient Greece but we transferred it to our time and simplified it by leaving out ancient temples. So it’s just him, nature and the result of combining those two.”
