“The Act of Formation is my diploma project. In the collection I deal with the topic of expression of architectural principles by means of clothing. The main source of inspiration is the personality and work of prof. Ing. Arch. Eva Jiřičné, CBE. I look for a link between seemingly different worlds of architecture and clothing. Based on the aesthetic characteristics and design principles of the buildings, I model the flat textile material. Following the inner (interior visions of the architect) of the external (aesthetic facade) principles. To support the idea I use industrial technical fabrics and materials. Key words for this collection would by: texture, refraction, dimension I try not to take fashion too seriously. We tried to keep the shoot playful as well and give it a little retro vibe- the London pop scene of the 70s was a great inspiration for that.“ says designer Agata Zapotilova.
