Introducing Eliran Nargassi, the menswear designer hailing from Jerusalem, whose latest endeavour seeks to reclaim the essence of art in a digitized world. Nargassi’s limited capsule collection of T-shirts goes beyond mere fabric; it embodies a manifesto against the global encroachment on individuality, emotion, and creativity.

“In a world which becomes more and more global, one of the greatest dangers is loss: loss of individuality, loss of emotion, loss of soul, loss of creativity – in short, loss of humaneness,” he states. With this sentiment at the forefront, Nargassi has chosen to craft a line of T-shirts that serve as both canvas and statement. Each print is a testament to his belief that art is an embodiment of emotion, soul, and human intelligence – distinctly separate from the sterile output of AI.
These prints are not mere digital creations; they are hand-made representations of Nargassi’s handwriting, imbuing each piece with a unique human touch. In a playful yet profound nod to the imperfections that make us human, he intentionally left a spelling mistake in the phrase “human intelligence,” highlighted with a corrective red mark. This decision is not simply an error, but a deliberate embrace of the “humane imprint” that reflects life’s beautiful inconsistencies.
After graduating from Shenkar’s College of Engineering and Design in 2012, Nargassi launched his brand in 2013 as a manifestation of his core values: sustainability, minimalism, and humanity. Photographer Gil Nargassi captures the essence of his artistic journey, each T-shirt from this capsule transcends fashion, inviting wearers to connect with the deeper narrative of humanity through art.
In a time when the world is increasingly digitized, Eliran Nargassi’s designs remind us of the fundamental importance of emotion and individuality – creating not just clothing, but a vibrant form of self-expression.
