“As queer Latin American creators we relate to being subjected to the ever-present social standards of masculinity in these communities, and the idea that success is antonymous of expressing your true identity in ways that may discomfort a very watered down “normality”.

So, our main focus with this editorial was to inject and celebrate first-world gay culture in an elevated and luxurious manner, in essence, we follow the regular life of what our version of a successful person. Someone who embodies glamour and strength, and is in no way a product of conditioning and gendering.

Last year we experienced very important moments in pop culture for our community and were blessed with very important role models for the youth, so we wanted to pay homage to those top-notch drag performers, vogue dancers, and overall queer artists.”
