Inspired by the science fiction genre, in that cinema where we traveled between dimensions, where there were portals that teleported us in time and the space, and that made it look like a futuristic experiment of the 80’s or 90’s technologies that changed the perception of what surrounds us and the ways of Interact with other people; WE ARE NOW PRODUCTIONS creates “THE LINE BETWEEN “, a fashion editorial that evokes science fiction and talks about the barriers of time and space.
In an almost uninhabited world two people live connected in virtual realities parallel trying to find each other. There are inconclusive meetings that they reveal that time and reality are not “solid”. The characters manage to break the barriers of your virtual reality to together escape from a chaotic world on the edge of destruction. “THE LINE BETWEEN” talks about how technology is a tool that is allowing us to explore more diverse, more complex and infinite realities.
To the look like that imaginary of the future that we had the last century thanks to the cinema, series and comics, is becoming more and more visible in our present. WE ARE NOW under its aesthetic parameters aims to commemorate those images that have marked us so much of the science fiction genre. Every time it seems thinner the line between our conventional reality and virtual reality.
Technology is a tool that is allowing us to explore more diverse scenarios, more complex and infinite. Thanks to technology we can talk about realities virtual, augmented reality and even intergalactic travel, as a fact thatis marking the evolutionary course of our species.
