Over the past few weeks The xx have been teasing us with snippets from their studio playlist, but now ’On Hold’ is the first full track from their highly anticipated album ‘I See You’, out January 13th via Young Turks. The album, recorded between March 2014 and August 2016 in New York, Texas, Reykjavik, LA and London, was produced by Jamie Smith and Rodaidh McDonald. Heavily incorporating samples from the 80s hit ‘I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)’ by Hall and Oates, ‘On Hold’ was released with information about tour dates and a special album boxset.
