Tokyo Tales with Hito

Hito is a Japanese, Berlin based, electronic music artist and vinyl DJ with unique style and aesthetic. Full of colour and character, born and raised in Himeji, Japan, she is loved for her sophisticated record collection, deep techno style, and her incredible ability to entertain crowds with charm and energy. During her Tokyo Tales photo diary, we follow Hito as she plays for the Calvin Klein party at ‘Oath and Hachi’ (Tokyo Dive Bar) with Jamie XX, James Murphy and Nina Kraviz. She also visited Maison de Koichiro Kimura, who is known for working with Gucci and winning shop design of the year.

I had super fun playing for Calvin Klein in Tokyo and with Nina!! Nice appearance from Shin the creator of fashion brand Newneu Tokyo, so many friendly faces from Womb Club, Japanese legendary DJ Ko Kimura and fantastic award winning artist and designer Koichiro Kimura; all friends supporting me and giving me a warm welcome back to Tokyo!! A nice experience to play in a tiny intimate Tokyo underground venue Oath & Hachi! Special thanks to our favorite photographer Skinny who took all these photos.
