Taken from the upcoming Aerga Vol. 01 by the collective Ethereal Skies is ‘Angel’ by Casement, a talented producer hailing from Glasgow. Surrounded by the vibrant nightlife scene of his hometown, Casement draws inspiration from a diverse range of sounds, blending influences from around the world with the bass music rooted in his local scene. Whether delving into dancehall, jungle, Jersey club, or hardcore, Casement’s sets and productions encompass a rich variety of genres. His unique approach has been well-received in venues and festivals across the UK, as well as clubs in Berlin and Ljubljana.
Casement’s versatility as a producer is evident in his discography, featuring releases on esteemed labels such as Top Billin’, Steeze (Toddla T), and Nice Up! Records. From grime-influenced dancehall to jungle footwork hits, he fearlessly explores the wide spectrum of soundsystem and club music. His talent has garnered support from renowned DJs such as Interplanetary Criminal, VTSS, TEKLIFE DJs, Jamz Supernova, and Spooky. Notably, Casement has also contributed to the production work of artists like Stormzy, Coco, and Magugu.

Ethereal Skies, a Dublin-based party and platform dedicated to avant-garde electronic music, proudly presents their debut label release, Aerga Vol. 01. This jam-packed VA compilation showcases twenty-one emerging and established artists from Ireland and beyond, pushing the boundaries of avant-garde and genre-bending club music. A product of meticulous planning, this project aims to traverse the sonic landscapes of alternative club sounds through the contributions of local Irish artists and like-minded friends. Aerga serves as a testament to the musical vision that Ethereal Skies seeks to present to the world—a journey through a diverse soundscape that defies genre constraints. From ambient dreamscapes to avant-trance, breakcore to experimental pop, donk to gabber, neo-grime to prog, hard groove, and beyond, Aerga showcases a vibrant spectrum of sounds.

The compilation features a range of talent, including Harmful Logic, sweet philly, 2manycolours, Dylan Fogarty, Gaffa, Julia Louise KnifeFist, and many more. These artists present their unique modern interpretations of old-school sounds, collectively shaping the evolving landscape of electronic music.
