‘Ghosts’ is the fourth track this year to come from mysterious electronic producer obylx. A constantly shifting rhythm, ‘Ghosts’ is a vigorous follow-up and continues obylx’s release tradition of a new track on the first of each month, bringing some of the disparate styles of the previous three singles into focus. With some exciting collaborations in the works and a whole host of music already apparently already lined up for release, 2018 is set to be a great year for getting to know obylx.
obylx can be found deep in the forest, in the basement of a derelict building. Surrounded by flashing lights and strange technologies, he tries to make sense of his world. Not much is known of the man who dwells within, only that his name is “obylx”. After launching on the first day of 2018, obylx continues to release a new track at the start of each month. Already making waves, obylx’s first three tracks have accumulated over 200k plays since he emerged on January 1st, with early support coming from Spotify editorial playlists, BBC Introducing, KCRW and some of the worlds biggest YouTubers. ‘Dream In the Light’ is currently featured on the latest O2 UK TV advert and online campaign.
