French artist, producer and resident DJ of Rinse France and the Paris-based club Badaboum, Olympe4000 showcases her multi-genre taste on the EP e-goatrip6ter, due to be released March 16th via ADRENALINE QUALITY. It’s a cross-pollination of breaks, bass, neo-rave, crunchy techno and electronica. After playing several well-received shows on Berlin’s HÖR Radio and flexing her production skills on DJ MELL G’s label JUICY GANG RECORDS last year, e-goatrip6ter delves into Olympe4000’s hybridized sound, which she describes as “adrenaline quality.” Premiering today is the EP’s closing tune ‘Uploaded‘, with its claustrophobic claps, stomping drums and a glitched-out melody. A realm ruled by AI looms.
After having conversations with her 13-year-old sister about the impact of digital capitalism on mental health, Olympe4000 dedicates e-goatrip6ter to her sibling—a teenager growing up in the cyber-heavy age. Keen to explore themes of utopian socialism and innovative ideas for the digital future, Olympe4000 uses Adrenaline Quality as her sonic notebook.
ADRENALINE QUALITY is a new creative platform for electronic music, emerging queer artists, inclusive, utopist, nonsense percussive new and old club sonorities. ADRENALINE QUALITY teamed up with Beatz By Girlz : BBG is empowering the next generation of women and gender-expansive people through music and technology with more than 38 poles worldwide. Once a year the label will publish a VA made by the students of BBG. Music is the skeleton key BBG uses to open the door to technology parity and justice, not only in the music industry but in all tech-related fields where women and gender minorities are underrepresented.
