Singer-songwriter Urn teams up with producer-DJ Voydblossom to present the delectable ballad ‘My Mind’. Urn, known for her work with the Omaha band Daisy Distraction, as well as member of bands Domestic Blend and Magu, effortlessly weaves her lush vocals through an energetic house beat, creating something you just have to hit replay for. “We took a bit of a risk trying something different with the structure of this song,” the duo explain. “The first half is pure lo-fi R&B. Urn’s amazing voice is front & center for this ballad section that builds up to the vibey house groove 2 minutes in. We were trying to make something that would be exciting the first time you hear it, but also rewarding to listen to again and again.”
