A KALTBLUT exclusive by April Chang. An artist and photographer based in Taipei. Currently a Director of Photography at TUN Group. “Unreal reality” is cooperation with actress Nozomi Fujiwara, stylist Lily Lin, makeup artist Momo Guo and hair artist Sanki Wang. And the art direction was by both me and Lily. It’s about a girl falling asleep, and had several dreams. In her dream, she could be anyone else and even an insect. She was hunted by another “herself” and kept trying to the runway.”
“Taking and editing photos is a way I “make noises”. Those feelings what I want to say but I can not actually make it into understandable sentences, I just express them through photos. And I can also recheck the message I want to tell by taking photos. It’s my way to “speak” properly and get in touch with this huge society. I believe as long as I keep “making noises”, these voices will bring people who feel the same way to me. It would be less lonely for us to live through.”
