V/V is a project by Glaciar – A bold visual manifesto where crochet weaves an impossible encounter between the Virgin Mary and the Vedette. In this editorial universe, the sacred and the profane interlace in an aesthetic where the domestic curtain becomes a shawl, and the doily, a corset—a metamorphosis of the domestic into the divine and the theatrical. It blurs the lines between purity and perversion, elevating womanhood onto a pedestal that serves as both a sacred altar and a showgirl’s staircase. A visceral homage that humanises sanctity and deifies exuberance, asserting that before the spectator’s ecstasy, every woman is a queen, and every queen, a woman. It is the canonisation of the sequin and the humanisation of the aura. In V/V, heaven and the stage are, at long last, the same place.
